Iain Campbell built musical instruments prior to studying architecture as an undergraduate at Yale University and later apprenticed in architectural design, furniture design, and fine woodworking. He founded and managed Details: Furniture, a firm specializing in the design and fabrication of furniture, kitchens, and wood-paneled rooms. In 1996, after graduate studies in business at Columbia University, he became a licensed general contractor to better manage the realization of his design work, and spent the next three decades designing and building luxury apartment and townhouse renovations in NYC and the surrounding area.
Ron Rowe studied fine arts at Parsons The New School for Design, then worked in store and window display for major corporations while developing his own practice in product design and interiors. He has developed a strong specialty in color and mid-century modern design. He has been working with Iain Campbell for over forty years.
